26th October 2015

Hello everyone,

First things first, we would like to extend a warm Marquisway welcome to 3 new members of staff, Lisa, Christie and Amanda. We also have a new volunteer in team 4 called Kate, welcome to her too.

You may remember that our Boccia team went to Sctotland on 26th September to take part in the Lothian Festival. We did really well and the results for the individual events are as follows.
Aaron Younger GOLD
Janet Hind  BRONZE
Paul Gallagher 4th Place Ribbon
John Farrimond 4th Place Ribbon
Andrew Knox 5th Place Ribbon
Well done everyone, you did us proud.

We would also like to congratulate our very own Gary "Gazza" Cringle who won the Sports Achiever of the year award. Well done Gary, you're a star!

Bonfire Night

We would like to remind you about Firework Safety too. We are getting close to Bonfire night and there are already quite a lot of fireworks being set off around the area. It is important to remember that fireworks can be very dangerous. You could check out local press for details of organised firework displays which should be safer. We have also found a copy of the Firework Code for those of you that are planning your own bonfire/firework parties.

Well that's is for this week folks

Enjoy your week and don't forget that if you have anything that you would like us to promote on this BLOG please let us know.
