Before Easter we had a coffee morning in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We raised £242.30! A big Thank You to everyone that came along.

On 26th March there was a fundraising Bag Pack at the B&M store at Team Valley Retail Park. This was to raise money for Gateshead Special Olympics. We are proud to announce that a massive £639.94 was collected.
Huge Thank You's to the staff and customers, of B&M, for their support.
Thanks also to Kath Iveson, Shona Tong, John Farrimond, Aaron Younger, Andrew Knox, David Horncastle, David Farrell and other volunteers that gave up their time.

Finally, we would like to wish our Special Olympic Boccia team Good Luck for their tournament on Saturday 2nd April in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Hopefully, they will bring a lot of medals back.

Monday 21st March - Marquisway is closed, as it is a staff training day.

Thursday 24th March - Easter coffee morning here at Marquisway.

From 10am until 11.30am. Everyone welcome!

Friday 25th March and Monday 28th March - Marquisway will be closed for Easter.

Saturday 26th March - Fundraising at B&M's on the Team Valley Retail Park. This is to raise money for the Special Olympics. Please come along and "Get your Bags Packed" for a good cause.

The Carnival tour is under way. The latest show was in Ashington, Northumberland on 10th March. It was a massive success and everyone that took part thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were made to feel very welcome by everybody at Parkhead Day Centre. The audience loved the music and the costumes.
The next show will be at the beginning of April, more information next time.

For all you practical jokers out there, we'd like to remind you that it will be April Fool's day on Friday 1st April! Plenty of time to think up some tricks to play. Remember though, you only have until 12 noon to play your trick or the joke will be on you!

                  The Carnival Tour 2016

The first date on The Carnival tour calendar was at St Chad's in Bensham on Thursday 25th Feb. It was a huge success and everyone had really good time. The audience was amazing and they all said that they had really enjoyed the performance. The next show is at Parkhead, which is in Ashington, Northumberland!

We will be having some Easter EGGstravaganza events here at Marquisway, we will let you know more about this next week, when we have had confirmation of the dates etc. Rumour has it that there will be an Egg Hunt, Coffee morning and Easter Hat (Bonnet) competition!

We're all so EGGcited!
