New for 2017

Many of you may have come along to our Valentines Masquerade Ball which was on 10th February. It was a huge success.
The ball was the first in a new and exciting disco programme here at Marquisway Resource Centre. The programme features 4 discos over the year and they will take place on a Friday evening from 7pm until 10pm. There will be refreshments available to buy and we are launching a soft drink and Tapas bar! Tickets cost £2 and carers are free. Please contact Rebecca South, at Marquisway, for further information and tickets.

Here are the dates for the next disco's.

Easter Disco: Friday 7th April.
Summer Disco: Friday 28th July.
Halloween Disco: Friday 27th October.

We will remind you nearer the time of each one!

On February 14th, we had a Dignity Day event. There was lots going on here. We had a cake stall, Breakfast bar, tea and coffee, Dignity Ladder and Tree and some Dignity poems. This was held in our hall. The activities took place in the morning and then there was a disco in the afternoon. People used this event to catch up with their friends and to chat about what 'Dignity' means for them.

Monies raised will be used to replace some broken disco equipment.

We are developing our Autism suite here at Marquisway Resource Centre.
The equipment installed will provide a quiet and safe environment for relaxation and to enjoy a sensory experience that can be tailored to meet individual need.
The suite is already proving to be valuable resource for our service users with autism.
We will post more pictures once the artwork is complete and all the equipment is in place.
Here are some pictures of what the artwork will look like.
