Great news!!! Carole, from team 3, will be having a Pancake extravaganza! There will be pancakes available to buy, more details will follow next week.
Did you know? Pancake day or Shrove Tuesday is the last day of "gorging" or "fat eating" before Lent (Ash Wednesday). Lent is a period of approximately 6 weeks that ends on Easter Sunday. If you are interested to know more about the significance of Lent and Easter, please ask staff or your carers to help you.
If there are other festivals or celebrations that you would like to know more about please ask staff or carers or email us and we could do the research for you!

Valentines Day! February 14th
We have asked our resident DJ, (DJ Deeks) if he will do a disco for us to celebrate Valentines day. This will be on Friday 12th February from 1pm. Don't forget to invite your Valentines along!Did you know? Valentine was first associated with 'Romantic love' back in the Middle Ages!
In the 18th Century it became an occasion to send your loved one flowers, cards and sweets. Valentine keys were also given to signify the unlocking of the givers heart!
Today, Valentines Day is a huge industry, mass produced cards and Valentine tokens available just about everywhere.
