We have some more news about our successes in the Special Olympics.

"All round Success for Gateshead – 1 Gold Medal ( Andrew Dodds)2 Silver  Medals ( Mark Proctor Jemma Robinson )and a Bronze Medal ( David Martin).

 

All medals thoroughly deserved and competitively won.

Boccia (not Special Olympic event)

This competition was the final of the Heathcote Cup, held in Sheffield. Heats were held in Newcastle and Guildford earlier this  year. Andrew and Christopher both qualified for the final during the heats in 1st and 3rd position. This was the highest standard that we competed in and all played really well.
Andrew was pipped at the post for 3rd place in the last game! He finished 4th. Christopher finished 5th.
A really good day, meeting up with some  friends that we have met at previous Boccia tournaments.

Keep a space in your diary's, you know that we told you that we were hoping that our Elvis would be back... well he's back on June 14th!!! He'll be appearing from 1pm - 3pm, pay on the door with tickets costing only £1.00.
